Hi Elizabeth,  That is great news!  I love when I miscalculate and it works out in my favor, it's like getting a little gift.  I had a nice Christmas, but I've been paying the price for a few days.  Playing games with the little ones and talking to the teenagers left me more exhausted than I've ever been in my life, but I feel better today.
It's wonderful to hear about all of you finshing up tx.  I feel like I'm sort of close behind and I take comfort in knowing there actually is an end to this.  (Yes, Brenden, my fingers are crossed!)
Have a Happy New Year, everybody.  tysmile

Gidday Elizabeth,

Yeh' your spot on there, and I remember ages ago you mentioned that they called your first shot week 0, so I am glad you got it sorted.  Good stuff, in a way it's like being given a week's discount or something, only finding out your finishing date - based on how many scripts you had left. thumbsup.gif

I hope it's a good omen for me please.gif 'cause I'm having trouble getting someone capable of making a decision at my clinic, to actually pin-point my last shotevileye  In a way I find out tomorrow when I go to the hospital pharmacy to pick up what should be my  last box. with a fifth wheelblankstare Turns out I need to pick up from pharmacy tomorrow but since ordering it, I had a discussion with "my" nurse and she reckons she's gonna check exactly how many shots I should have left with the boss.:(

According to last clinic (new specialist) it was five shots from this Friday (31st) but they don't come in boxes of five do theybiggrin  Keep your fingers crossed for me and I might get a bit of tx discount as well.pray.gif

That aside, I'm glad you got your mess cleared out in your favour, and Scarborough would have been the spot to be with that really hot weather you've been having over there in WA this week, I really hope you managed a nice dip in the cool evenings, and the breezes would have been pretty good to.  Enjoy that extra week less to do on tx, good onya.

Cheers,

Brendan.

P.S.  James:-  Glad you sorted those days/dates mate, I was getting real 'fused.confuse  I think I've been on tx just too long.

Hi Beth,

Get'er done as they say in America. Nice to be by the beach ! I've never seen the Indian ocean.

Your last shot is 3 days before mine. I think I might take a picture of my Sharps container full of syringes, as sick as that sounds.

Take care,

James

Hi Everybody
i have been pretty quiet, just getting along the best i can.
I spent christmas in Scarborough, house sitting my daughters apartment only minutes from the beach ...yum swimming...

Great news ...
i went to the hospital pharmacy just before christmas and as it turns out this is my last box as i have completed the script.

When i had my first shot the nurse recorded it as wk 0 so i followed and recorded the next shot as wk1.(my mistake )
So now i finish a wk early on the 18th....the day after James..
i was happy happy, nearly did a little skip..

love to all
