Words of wisdom indeed. Try googling end stage liver disease and related forum threads - treatment sx are much more preferable to those.

A couple of years ago, a very close friend told me something I still cherish to this day:

"The next time you're feeling sorry for yourself, spend a week working on your problems.

Then, spend a week helping someone else with real problems.

See which one makes you feel better!"
