I often look at my GP in wonder when he tells me i am young and fit..because generally (especially when i am visiting him) that's not how i feel!! biggrin

That's great news Dopey and i am sure your age and fitness level will help with your next round.  Hope you get some news about it soon.

Hugs

Heather xxx

Thankyou everyone.  I always find it amazing how as soon as someone comes on here feeling even slightly down, lots of people come along with words of wisdom and support.

And yes Heather last time I saw my consultant he said I was on top of his list for the new tx as I am 'young' and 'fit' (not that i feel like that) to deal with the side effects x

Hi Dopey and good to see you again. aww  Have your team mentioned going on the new tx?  Sounds like you are psyching yourself up for it and i wish you all the very best with any other attempt you may have.

Lots of support here for you.  Take care. smile aww

Hi again Dopey, I`m so sorry to hear about your mum and the outcome of your first tx, it must have been a dreadful time for you.

I can well understand why you are so keen to start the new tx but also feeling very anxious, that is perfectly understandable.

You`ll find a lot of new members here now but everyone is very friendly and helpful and lots of people are doing the new tx therapies.

Good luck and take care, Jill xx

Thanks Steve and Barbara.  I first joined this site in 2009 when i tried tx, but when it failed i hid away trying to come to terms with failure.  I so desperately knew the consequence of tx failing, my mum had died months before from liver cancer caused by hep c.  I don't know why now I seem to feel anxious and desperate to start the new treatment more than i have ever done before.

I am not in a very good place at the moment..............

THERAPY.jpgUnfortunately 'cos you're on this site it means there IS something wrong with you!

Welcome to the HepC Hotel "You can check out any time you like etc"

Plenty of rooms but the food becomes awful.

There is also the possibility you will get stressed and go lightly loopy, but we all take drugs for that, and everything else.

Strangely enough this can be fun.

Steve
