I take Celexa every day.  Only 10 mg.  Seems to help keep me on a more even keel.

I also drink lots of hot tea - again, smoothes me out a little.

Had terrible rages on the shots & riba 6 years ago.  Not so bad this time around.  Better able to see it coming and just quickly disengage from whatever's getting to me.

I'd recommend getting some chemical help - it's chems that are causing the problem; makes sense they can help balance it out.

I know very well anymore it short fuses. I can't stand myself sometimes but I need to remember to take it one second at a time. My doc asked if I could wait two more weeks to see

Hi Karin, I know the feeling. I was only doing the two drug combo and sometimes had trouble reeling myself in. Good to hear your doc gave you something to try. It helped me to get lots of rest during tx too. I'm generally a poor sleeper and used sleeping pills (Ambien) to help knock me out.

I was lucky that I was able to trust one of the managers where I work and let him know I'd be taking a medication for awhile that may alter my moods. While it wouldn't excuse me from choking the crap out of someone who probably needed it, I figured it might cover me for a mild blow up - which embarrassingly, did happen a couple times. I also said the serenity prayer under my breath quite a bit.

I hope it does the trick..frustrated.gif
