I think sugar substitutes are fine, real sugar is just hard on the liver my doc. didn't say to avoid it. I mean you have to eat something with some fat content if your taking a PI so it will absorb into the blood stream.

I never heard anything about not eating sugar.  Only that it's good to stay healthy.

Understand a person with hepatitis c should not eat suger? Do you think Stevia is ok?
