I thought there was additional math needed to get another result?

The knowledge page says this:

IU = International Unit 1 IU (2.5 VL Copies)

My blood work paperwork says its this:

1UI/ML= 5.2 copies.

Why the difference?

It just looks reversed eh?

HI, hope everyone is doing ok tonight!

I was looking at a knowledge base page and found this information on abrieviations:

IU = International Unit 1 IU (2.5 VL Copies)
I found some blood work paperwork and mine says

1UI/ML= 5.2 copies.

Why the difference?

Also my test results shows a value of 524,581. So that is the number of my viral load, or does the number get multiplied by something? This test was called a Hep C RNA Quantitative bDNA if that matters.

Thank you
