Benefits Hepatitis and HIV

Whats changing? ESA? JSA? DLA? Housing Benefit?

Hepatitis Scotland and HIV Scotland, in partnership with Terrence Higgins Trust, are hosting a series of 1 day events focused on the upcoming changes to the Welfare system, and how these changes may have an impact on people with Blood Borne Viruses (BBVs).

Morning Briefing Session: 10:30am 12:30pm - Everyone Welcome

Each day will consist of a morning briefing session, from 10:30am to 12:30pm, aimed at people affected by BBVs, and those who work with people affected by BBVs. Learn what changes to the benefits system are planned, and possible impacts. Lunch will be provided after the briefing session, for your chance to network and ask questions.

Afternoon Focus Groups: 1:30pm 3:30pm - For people personally affected by BBVs

Stay after lunch and contribute to a discussion on what the changes to the benefits system will mean for people living with viral Hepatitis or HIV. If you would prefer, you can give your opinion in a 1:1 survey.

Find your local event below, and come along. If you can please let us know if you are planning to come by emailing Lesley@hepatitisscotland.org.uk
