Very happy for you and Renee. Moving her stuff in this heat has got to be terrible. My daughter and her husband moved this weekend, only about a half mile, and I was unable to help. Just couldn't take the heat, as they say. Yeah, Renee is going to love getting some TLC for a while. Then when she gets to feeling better you can call in a marker and she can pay you back. Congrats on finally getting together. Alan

Congratulations Lindsey on getting moved!  I hate moving, but I love being in a different place, lol.  I think it will be so much better for the two of you, being able to support each other.  I had a foot fusion a few years ago, so it presented it's own set of "stuff" to deal with, so make sure you take it easy too.  Yes, this heat has been tough even though I love Summer; Buster lives on top of the AC vents!  Take care and try to stay cool, tysmile

Yesterday, I went out to Renee's house to help her bring some of her stuff (the essentials) out to Eastern Mass.  We decided to stay in a hotel last night because my little studio apartment was cramped and very hot (no AC allowed unless I rented it from school for $250 and had them install it for another pretty penny).  We had a comfy bed and no boxes.  We passed out early because we had to get up early and Renee took her Pegasys shot last night.  Today, my brother, his ex-girlfriend, and a classmate help us move in.  It was SO HOT out....got up to 97 today at least and was very humid.  I could tell Renee was in pain and the side effects plus heat were getting to her.  We've unpacked some stuff, but we're trying to pace it with her side effects and my foot (5 days post minor emergency surgery).  We have to get the rest of her things from Western Mass sometime this week...depends on friends helping us both.  I hope Renee will feel better by then.  Moving when not feeling well is not fun at all.  The important thing is that we're now together and don't have to do the long distance thing anymore!!!!!  I think she likes the fact that she can have backrubs, neckrubs etc when the symptoms get bad...that achy flu-like thing.  I like knowing that I can help out more and be a better support. Water toast to our future!
