Hi Mike,

I was wondering how you were getting on smile

I'm thinking the same as Heather and a quick call to your doctor for a better explanation sounds like a good move aww

Hi there Mike.

I would try not to worry too much as it is most likely that they are now using a more sensitive test - that can detect a much smaller amount of the virus than the other type of test could.

I'd trust your Dr and maybe ask him to explain it again if possible, to put your mind at rest.

The following link will hopefully help.

Hope the last stretch of your tx goes swiftly and congrats when it arrives!! smile

Hugs

Heather xxx

Hi,

I'm oon a countdown.  I come off the interferon and ribaviron Nov. 2nd, ten days later I come off the ribaviron.  I've been undetected for some time now but have come across a glitch, so to speak.  The test I had before the last one showed absolutely no trace of the virus.  The lasts test camae back with a trace of the virus.  My Dr. explained that they couldn't quantify the viral load something to do with it being 25  or lower.  Have you heard of this before?  My Dr. tells me not to worry and I'm trying just that; I completely trust my Dr. but I still get scared
