I thought about that as well  didn't know where to look for an answer  Thanks again Malcom  It's the waiting that's so hard and fear of waiting too long driving us into the more difficult treatment's and trials It feels so wrong to have a cure put right under our nose and take it away  and  how much more dangerous can the GS & BMS be than the unknown Side affects of new drugs never tried  Like the DEB035 I did Last I read The DEB025 I was on was stopped because there were 3 major pancreatic problems one was death  I hope the GS 7977 and  BMS Daclatasvir will be accessible for the newcomers and If relapse I won't be  doing this type again  I'll wait   BillS

Hi Zlikster, if you read the last paragraph in the link I posted, you will see that mix and match is possible once drugs are approved.

If i understood well...if the FDA approves both medications, separaely and not as a combo, does that forbids doctors too prescribe both medications on patient's own risk? If both medications will be available on market and Gilead pulls the plug on Phase 3 stuides of combination with competition company (in this case Bristol Mayers), is there some room/gray area we can get both medications on our own risk? wouldn't that open a grey/black market for better chance of cure?

Thanks for posting this again JIme

Please dont forget JIme and friends  and the study did  they truly may be the last to ever do it

There is  proof the  Gilead  did pull out a partnership that was 100% cure  because they didnt want to share the 7977 marketing with Bristol Meyers & Daclatasvir-  They wanted it all   SO WE WAIT  What can you do???  Please sign this petition or at least look at how Gilead is trying to sweep this under the rug    There are all kinds of links and stories right here      http://hepc-cured.com/    Ive spoken with  Margaret Dudley, from Texas  http://hepc-cured.com/about-us/   quite a few times  this is not a scam If you sign the petition ( using an e-mail ) youll get a confirmation and a thank you thats it  I wanted to help her and Im waiting for something I can do to pop up in NY area   Meantime I fully support this petition

The News you hear about how many trials GS is doing is clouding the fact that the    Gilead  7977 & Bristol Meyers & Daclatasvir-  was even out there.    Dont let GS get away unaccountable for being greedy.   This may have been on the market and available to all in 2013 / 2014 ( including cirrhotic victims )

This was 2 pill interferon free cure  with 100% cure rate

Here is a video you should seeThis is new to me

http://hepc-cured.com/video/

I said before if I had a choice to do GS 7977 with something else with I WOULD in a heartbeat     But I cant do any open  trials cause I have cirrhosis  and  Im 17 weeks into the Inciveck  UND  Im doing it the hard way, even more  they extended my treatment to 48weeks.    I wish I had a choice at the time.  So this does not mean GS is not trying   They are  making us all you Newbie  people wait ( How long??)  do you have that kind of time ????

If you have any questions Ill be happy to try and explain

I was just talking to Al, my tx buddy, today and I said this exact thing to him. "How lucky were we to get on probably the best Hep C meds ever developed. The shame of it is that no one else will ever be on them again. Only a version of them."

Gilead has their own 790052 ( not 62 as the article states ) but I heard it's not as good as the BMS original. And BMS has their own 7977. I don't know anything about that one. Other companies have copied 7977 and are having great result but I haven't seen anything as potent as the first combo. Too bad.

Money makes the world go around but when it trumps people's health, it really makes me wonder about the whole system we have here on this planet.

When I become king I will make sure everybody has access to all the best medications available. Until then I guess we no choice but to go with the flow.

This would appear to be the combo of choice , paricularly for those who have failed previous PI treatment with Incivek or Victrelis. Shame that Gilead would not use Daclatasvir- this has delayed approval by at least a year.

*The last paragraph is especially interesting.
