Hi Kelly,

That is a very high Viral Load. Do you know your Genotype?

I would not be satisfied with a Biopsy report that just said ' no scarring'. Do you have a copy of the report? You need to know the amount of inflammation ( no relation to scarring) and the degree of fibrosis. The report should say 'A0-4, F0-4'.  To make any comments about treatment is futile without this basic information.

Hi guys . Well I got more blood work done, and i got my biopsy. My viral count is 69 million, and biopsy showed no scarring.

My doctor says i dont need treatment because there is no scarring. I dont understand - why would I want to wait until there is damage to treat? That doesnt sound pro active or at all rational.

I have Healthy San Francisco insurance. If i were a wealthy person, or had some other insurance would my hep C be worthwhile to treat?

 

My suspicion about this is detracting from the relief i feel at finding out i dont have scarring.

 

What do you guys think?
