58 yo..Relapsed in 99 and again in 2004. Started triple therapy with Victrelis July 22,2012.  genotype 1a. week 8,12,16,24 VL Undetectable..E.O.T -- 6-22-2013,,,EOT + 24., UND.

Hi,

 

I am female , 58 years old and live in Sydney Australia.

I was diagnosed 15 months ago with Hep C and Cirrohsis  but have not started treatment yet. 

The specialists wanted to make sure I was stable enough.   For example during that time I also got diagnosed with osteo-athritis in my knee and need a partial or full  knee replacement  but after everbody got together they decided that the operation was a no go.  Only operations they would consider doing on me was life or death as they say.

I am waiting to go and see the transplant clinic  in the next few weeks and hopefully discuss going on treatment .

Dont you wish you had a magic wand to make it all go away?
