my mom knows one women whos brother cured hepatitis c after couple of years of healthy diet. Apparently he is still UND. So, there are stories about spontaneous clearance of chronic hcv, but they are really rare...i guess you are really lucky! as i have noticed while doing research round it, females patients have a lot bigger chance for sponataneus clearance than males.

all the best

12 years ago I had a tattoo done and turned jaundiced 2 weeks after that .This was followed by a few blood tests to confirm the presence of hepc .Because I was young and healthy I didn't get into a tx program .There was a few blood test over a years and a liver biopsy .I had 3 tests in 2010 during my pregnancy and I spend hours worrying about my little one who is virus free as it turned out 12 months later .My last positive result was in november 2011 and then march 2012 came back negative..I've changed my life style a lot .Became a great fan of cold-press juicing and healthy eating .I'm not trying to say that this is what cured me but it definitely makes you think...miracles do happen

Take care Alan

Mistakes have been made, by every blood testing outfit on the planet. You are one of the lucky ones. My only question to you is why did you take the tests in the first place? Just bask in the knowledge that you are not going to have to do this treatment. And use your head in the future to avoid situations that might expose you to risk.

Hi

I'm new to the Forum .I had hepC for 12 years ,I'm 32 now .My treatment was supposed to be started last march. Two days before my first injection I received a phone call from my nurse to say that my latest, pre-tx test came back negative.

Being as we all assumed that it was lab's mistake I had another one few days after , followed by one a month , 3 months and 6 mths after ..They were all negative .Of course I'm over the moon! there's probably no point in me buying lottery tickets in a futuresmile . Just wanted to ask if anyone has ever came across similar situation or a story ?

Good luck and take care!
