Hello Constance and welcome to all things HCV

Glad to hear your positive spirit come through, you will be a great addition to the forum.

One of the beauties of this forum is having many others that can relate to your worries and struggles and give insight on dealing with day to day problems of HCV.

Have a great day

Matt

Hi and welcome to the forum, Constance. You've had a long journey and hopefully will soon recover when you finish.

I did 48 weeks of the Victrelis triple, and 7 weeks after EOT, I'm about 75% of my pretreatment self. Good luck.

Hi my name is Constance I am 50 and I have three weeks remaining on my triple therapy with incivic. first let me say that my doctor said that I had had the highest viral load he had ever seen at 36 million so though I am genotype 1 in the second stage I was at a high risk. I will tell you that it has not been an easy road. I thought at times I was going to die. I wanted to quit so many times but kept pushing on for myself and my family. I have three weeks left and I have to say that I could not be happier that I continued with the treatment. I had to quit my job after the first month due to being so ill. I did continue on with my full time schooling but I have to say that has been a real challange. I have no detection and pray everyday that it continues to Stay that way. I would like to give encouragement to anyone thinking about doing this it is not easy in fact for some it will be the hardest thing you will ever do but in the end it is going to be worth it. Hang in there to all who are new to the treatment may God guide your path. smile
