Does anyone know the percentage of people who become detectable again once they achieve SVR?

Thanks,

Carol

Hi Carol, according to the latest information available, it`s only about 1 - 2 % of people who relapse after achieving SVR.  If anyone is going to become detectable again it usually happens within the first 12 weeks post treatment.  If the virus is still undetectable at the end of 6 months then that is SVR, and the nearest thing we currently have to a `cure`.

Hope that helps. ~ Jill
