Hi everyone, it's me Laura with a update on Tom's liver tumor.   We went back for the 3 month CT liver scan and the tumor in Tom's liver hasn't grown.  We are very happy, elated, excited, biggrinbiggrincan you tell.    He had a stent put in last month due to his heart not being able to handle the stress of surgery last month and his surgery is scheduled for June 19th.  After speaking with doctor about the surgery, he shared that he is feeling very positive about the new hep C treatment without the interferon and believes once it is approved next year, Tom will be able to make another try at treatment and hopefully will be able to beat this Hep C  once and for all.  It truely was a wonderful visit.

I hope all of you are doing well that your treatment and progress is great.  It has been a while since I have been on this forum but  wanted to share this good news with all of you because as some of you know, Tom's luck hasn't been too great in the past.  I promise to check back from time to time to read about everyones progress and to update with Tom's recovery. Just want to again thank this forum for being available.  It has been a godsend for me when I need prayers, feedback or a place to vent.  Keep up the great work.   Positive prayers and thoughts going out to each and everyone of you.  You are all awesome.

Laura
