Bon jour! Welcome to the group. It sounds like you have a good plan and are eating well to boost yourself along. That waiting game seems so unfair. Please keep us posted on the results. I am not vegan, but use a lot of vegetable protein. It is good for reversing liver fibrosis! I am glad they caught it while you are still in the early stages..
bis bis, Karen:)

Hi ios9

thank you - my avatar is my cat and it looks like garfield.

All of us really understand your doubts to reach svr. I follow different groups concerning abbvie studies - that will be about 50 persons.

But only a few people have reached already week 12 after end of therapie, otherwise I know only from one single relaps and this is in this forum.

Last monday I had the final discussion with my doctor, we talked about the risk of relaps, and he told me, that both in the 8 week group in phase 2

reached SVR. I know that abbvie would have stopped the treatment, if with the end of week 6 UND is not reached.  The only thing we can do is waiting.

I will get  my blood results, when the study has been completely closed, that should be on the end of august.

nice evening

Hi ios9,

            welcome, and greetings from germany.

I finished my Abbvie Sapphire trial on July 7th, it was doubleblinded, so I don't know my blood values.

Privatly I induced the measure of the viral load after 4 days. It was decreased from 10.5 Millions to 1148.

with regards

Hi Dominique, welcome, I`m glad you found us!  We have a section of the forum called  `Clinical Trial Participants`, and other members who have done the same trial have posted about their progress there.  You`re welcome to start a new topic/thread in that section too, if you like.

Congratulations on your week 5 and 6 UND results, best of luck with your SVR.

Have a nice evening over there in Paris, it`s been a lovely day here in the UK too!

 Hi Garfield ,

Love your name and avatar. I discovered I was HCV after the death of my 14 months old Peterbald named Gershwin. I became very tired, dry eyes, nose and mouth. He might have save my life, but I miss him so much...

I have a friend who is on Saphir too. She did the same as you : had her results from private sources. She was UND week 1 but started with a very low VL.

My load was 21M begining of March, reduced to 17 M begining of April (after ostheopathy treatment). On day 1 with Turquoise II, I started with 17 M. and two hours later my VL was down to 11 M. then  only 670 Il on week 1. This treatment is working very fast.

I did not have any side effect, no anemia (I am vegan), every thing fine excepted some deep sadness when I understood I was the last one to become UND in my group. I wanted a 24 weeks trial but was on a 12 weeks one unhappily.

However, docs said that with those new moleculars, one does not need to become UND on the first 1/3 part of treatment. Hope they are right !

When AbbVie will allow you to know your results ?

Have a nice sunny day, hot here in Paris right now.

Hi !

Nice to have found this forum :)

I am French, from Paris, and have been diagnosed HCV last end of February, with early cirrhosis too. Contaminated by blood transfusion early in my life, 42 years ago.

I started AbbVie TURQUOISE II trial on the 8th April for 12 weeks. Treatment ended on 1st July.

My VL was a high 17.M on day 1, was under 25 on weeks 4/5 and UND weeks 5/6.

We in Europe start the American trials later than you, so I am looking for more informations you might have.

Thank you all and have a very nice day :)
