I thought it was interesting reading about the new developments - the Gilead trial appears very promising for people!

Hey Malcolm, have you considered a new career as a Concierge Hepatologist? You would be absolutely perfect! What a great person you would be in that position! Of course I guess you have already been doing that. I hope fellow physicians that see what you continue to do everyday, here and elsewhere, will strive to provide the same excellent care and information to their patients. And do it 24/7, without charge! Thanks for what you do, you really do make a positively wonderful difference in our lives and health care! All of our Admin here are worth their weight in gold and I hope everyone will take a moment to let them know how much they are valued and appreciated! Bless all of you! biggrin

Hi Jill,

I was interested to read the article on Hepatitis C and your DNA. This is a complex subject, and I would like to explain it more fully, so I will do a separate post explaining the Interleukin 28B variants. Cheers.

Thanks Malcolm, I`ve just read through your post, much appreciated.  It`s a topic that comes up from time to time and which often causes confusion, so it`s very useful to have a detailed explanation here on the forum.  As I`ve said to you before, your presence here has raised the standard of knowledge by a considerable degree!  Thanks again for all you do. x
