Hello and welcome to the forum! You've come to the right place for help and information. Can you provide a little background? If you can provide info like your genotype, biopsy results if you've had one and the blood tests like the ALT and AST, we can give you much better information about your health and treatment recommendations. Don't stress too much, it's best to handle it the way you are. Ask questions, gather your information and approach your doctor prepared and educated. You'll be better for it and less stressed at the same time! Keep in touch, let us know a little more about yourself and do your best to relax. All will be fine!

I am new here and confronting the onset of some Nasty symptoms.  It's like a switch was thrown at age 59 and the HCV is taking some great strides to do me harm.  Up to now, it's been pretty manageable.  So I find myself confronted with what to do for treatment.

I can

start Peg Interferon Ribi or wait.  I have no idea how to navigate the choice, so here I am.
