Here's a repost of the fibroscan information. Didn't want it to get buried.

Hey Brownie!

Welcome back old friend! Our favorite funny woman, lol! How are you? Good I hope...

You're interpreting the Fibroscan graph correctly, a 10.3 kPa is considered F3. Still considered advanced fibrosis, but it's not cirrhosis. Woot! That's where I ended up, too. I still have abdominal ultrasounds and they have all been good. I haven't had a fibrosis staging since treatment, so I don't know where I'm at now, other than 4 years older... Ughhh!

You have every reason to be thrilled, congrats on the good news and progress!

Bout' time for some funnies, eh???

H E L L O !  It's Brownie.

I haven't been posting for sometime but have followed some posts, seeing great advice given from Tig, Mallani, Jill and Mike from Arkansas. Missed you guys!

I came on looking for the fibroscan chart to see what improvement I've made 3 yrs after treatment, praying that like Malcolm I am no longer cirrhotic. (You need to update your bio showing your new liver stage, Malcolm)

If I'm reading it correctly, 10.3 on the chart is a stage 3? Is that correct? If so . . . it looks like I've finally made it to the regressive stage.

And to think 4 years ago I thought I was a goner. Happy doesn't even describe it !!!

yay i remember this chart!

When i first went to get my liver on FibroScan in Split, Croatia there were 2 ladies operating (FibroScan borrowed from Germany?). After my result (5 kPa), they gave me a mouse pad with this chart (who knows where i have left it) ;)

cheers!

Hi all,

For those who have access to Fibroscan, this is a useful chart. My doc has changed the numbers slightly, but you can see why I was not impressed by my score of 30 kPa!
