Good article Wayne. If they can extend the number of hours, let alone days that an organ can be maintained outside of the body, the opportunities for viable transplantation extend from a continental to global scale. Not only distance but patient logistics plays into transplantation. By adding time to find the perfect recipient, they add to overall success rates. It all adds to life, to living...
