I might be able to borrow my nephew's chemistry lab set that his parents bought him for his birthday.   Between the two of us, Huey, we should be able to figure out how to invent a high quality DAA.  biggrin  Ha!  Take that Gilead.

Yea I know ,, that ____ ! That is why I think we should find a way to do this without Sovaldi, instead use a similar science to find something that does the same thing. And let the public have it,, Make it free like Linux OS for computers is.

The good news is that Gilead is talking about not pricing Ledipasvir as high as Sovaldi:

"Another Gilead executive, Paul Carter, suggested the company may not price ledipasvir as high as Sovaldi, saying the "majority of value" in its combination with Sovaldi would be in Sovaldi."

The bad news is that Gilead is still a bunch of greedy b*****ds who are forcing doctors to decide which patients to treat and which patients not to treat.  "Who Gets Saved? Hepatitis Cure at $84,000 Makes Doctors Choose."
