Hey Huey:

A) Landing in the hospital wasn't due to anything you screwed up, and

B) We don't know the impact of the three missed days yet, and even if you don't achieve SVR this time, there is no way to know for sure that it was due to the three missed days, and

C) Don't be so hard on yourself!!   Are you getting a 4 week VL check?

I am seeing Dr Grandhi today, VL check will be next week sometime, Stint gets taken out week after,

That sounds familiar with my last 20 years of HIV Tx. I was a practicing alcoholic that wasn't going to quit drinking until the HIV got bad lol. No wander my CD-4 is only 338. It's a miracle I'm still alive. But it's not like that with modern HCV Tx. It's temporary, a small # of pills to take, and very light Sx's compared to older Rx's.

But I think I understand your point Huey. At first I was so anxious to acheive SVR, that I was likely to miss some crucial steps of the process designed to accomplish it. When I was a kid my late father referred to this as "Putting the Cart Before the Horse". But I've settled down some now that I'm 35 days into Tx. I guess I'm living it now pretty much as described in another of my fathers many sayings = "Don't Worry About the Mule going Blind, Just Load the Wagon". smile

Hi Huey,

Screw up treatment?? I had 48 weeks of 18 pills a day. 4x Victrelis at 6am, 2pm and 10pm with 3x Riba at 6am and 7pm. Why Merck couldn't make one 800mg capsule is beyond me! Sticking to that protocol was enough to screw anyone up.

But now we're talking one (or two) pills a day for 12 weeks. Surely that's doable.

If you mean washing the pills down with a cold beer, that's a different story.

I don't think there is any way to screw up the tx as long we take the meds correctly.  It either works or it doesn't, right?  Do you mean forgetting to take it or something?

Wile we are on treatment we start to: simply put ," Screw " things up!  Nothing can we seem to do just right, we try , as we might but fail, We cut the board twice and measure once, Changing a flat tire and wind up putting the flat tire right back on because it looks just like the spare,. It just stands to reason that we will sooner or later screw the treatment itself up too. This is something I think is under-estimated,confuse
