Hi Matt,

Good looking bloods mate. Incivek triple is a hard slog, but worth it.Your SVR chances are excellent.Cheers.

Hang in there, Matt.  The Incivek may have been contributing to the reduced Hgb and 10 is actually quite good considering the drugs you are on.  Mine tanked at about 6.5 but that was while on Incivek.  Hopefully, you will continue to feel better without that.   smile  You are doing really great.

Hi again, Matt, great to hear how much better you`re feeling already now that the 12 weeks of telaprevir (incivek) are well behind you, what a relief that must be!

Your bloods look fine, a little on the low side as you`d expect and your Hb level has dropped a bit since your last results (from 110 to 100), but that`s ok.  If it drops any further your doctor might start looking at options to raise it, but as Tig said, you don`t need to worry about it right now.  Your liver enzymes (ALT and AST) are looking good!  All in all, it`s good news!

Thanks for the update, great to hear you`re doing so well!  smile

Hi Matt,

Those reports look good! You're exhibiting the typical hemolytic anemia that we expect to see on the IFN/Riba/Incivek protocol. Even then, your levels are not in the tank yet. With a Hgb of 100 (10) you are likely starting to feel the fatigue. It may go lower but there are rescue drugs and therapies to deal with that if necessary. I'm so glad you're feeling better now that you've finished the Incivek. That is a common statement from others that have suffered through that first 12 weeks. Enjoy the new found vigor!!

Keep your attention on taking your meds on time and not missing any doses. You can change your diet now to something more to your liking. No more 20 grams of fat with the Incivek, yeah!! That should be a relief. But keep yourself well hydrated, that often helps reduce the headaches. It sounds like you've got things well under control. How's the Riba treating you? Any rash or anger issues to deal with? Let us know. Hang in there buddy, you're doing great!!

Tig

PS: Congrats on the 12 week UND, WOOT!!!! That's excellent and just what we want to see. Fantastic!!

After my 12 week bloods I have no virus detected and ride of that crazy telapraver

will try and put up blood results

for any one who is on this cruel treatment if it helps when I stopped the telapraver about a week after I started feeling so much better and had injection last night with almost no side effects today just a mild headache

so stoked life feels like it is getting back to some sort of normality

opinions on my results would be appreciated

regards Matt
