Hi Alexia,

Welcome from me too, I  see that Tig56 has already replied to you in another thread.

I appreciate you sharing your information and the offer of help, we all know how hard it is for many people to get access to these expensive drugs.

I would just like to repeat what Tig56 has just mentioned, that we would appreciate it if you don`t post links to any websites selling Harvoni or other treatment drugs.  Anyone who is interesting in contacting you for more information is free to send you a Private Message.

I`d also like to mention again, that anyone buying treatment drugs from an online website does so at their own risk.

Thanks! Jill

Hi Jill,

I'm an American that will be moving to India at the end of October to help facilitate medical tourism for European and American companies.  I will also be working at a US non profit clinic, run by American doctors, to mail prescription medicine to the US.

They informed me that the price of generic sofosbuvir 400mg 84 tablets are almost $900.  This does not include the prescription from an Indian doctor, No Objection Certificate (issued by local govt officer) and shipping the medicine to the US or elsewhere.

I have come across a site that ships sofosbuvir 400mg for $495 a bottle of 28 tablets only if you buy 3 bottles at a time.  A single bottle of 28 tablets cost $549, its kinda like a value meal, if you get fries and coke its a lot less.   I emailed them, they responded relatively quickly with a phone call.  Their customer service is in San Diego, California?!  Well...it was good to speak to someone without a heavy Indian accent that I can actually understand.  If anyone comes across any good websites please pass them on.

My two cents.

Thanks,

Alexia

Hello Vaibhav,

Thanks for your kind offer but you need to be very cautious about Sofosbuvir being sold via internet websites.  There`s no guarantee of the quality and as you said, they could be fakes.  I`m sure you have the best of intentions and just want to help people who need these drugs but there`s a lot of unscrupulous people out there who don`t care about profiteering from sick people.

Not only that, but anyone who needs Sofosbuvir really needs to take it with professional medical supervision using the correct medical protocols, so we don`t recommend obtaining treatment drugs in this way to any of our members..

Cipla has just launched a generic version of Sofosbuvir called `Hepcvir` which will be affordable for many more people in India, which is what we all want to see.

Thanks..  ~ Jill

Hello All,

I am in process of getting my hands on Sofosbuvir tabs in India for around 350 USD per bottle. I will ke you guys posted.

I have seen some websites selling it for 600-650 USD I don't know real or fake but still pricey. If anyone really needs it get I can arrange it in less that 500 or may be 450 USD or even less depending on how much I get it for. This is not for profiting from people who are sick this would probably cover cost for buying and shipping the stuff if anyone has friends in India I can ship it to them.

Thanks,

Vaibhav
