I'm comforted that you were all moved as much as me. How could anyone not be.

I cried much of this weekend, as she really did occupy my thoughts.

Today as I found myself stationary in my car, I couldn't help thinking.....what Helen would give to have just another day stuck in traffic....

Cinnamon girl, Gypsy soul, Brian, Wmlj,Tiggy and anyone else who was touched by this outstanding woman, thanks so much for caring.

x

Here is the thread that touched my soul. This is the story that Helen left for all of us to read and while it was 6 years ago, it will remain timeless. This is what bravery and friendship exemplify. When you're feeling down, remember Helen and gain strength from her journey.

Thanks Miffy...

Yes, Thank You Mzmiffy for remembering Helen. I read her threads / post and I shed tears too. Even with so many more people reaching SVR these days there sadly are still those fighters like Helen who are loosing the battle with this dragon.

Hi Miffy,

Helen was here before I joined the forum but I know she was well loved and respected by our original admin team members, one of whom knew her personally.

Her story is very sad, and from reading her posts she was a very brave and compassionate woman, right till the end.

All of us who have been lucky enough to respond to treatment and clear this virus should be very grateful indeed, we`re the lucky ones.  And thankfully with the new drugs now available so many more people have a better chance of reaching SRV, restoring their health and living their lives, and this will only get better in times to come.

If anyone would like to follow Helen`s story you can type her user name `HelenFrances` into the search box at the top of the page.

Thanks for your post in honour of Helen.. she would be so moved by your words.

I was doing a search on here and found myself drawn into the journey of a beautiful young woman named Helen Frances.

Far from ordinary, this woman and her deeply sad story has both captured and consumed me these last few days. The battles she faced from the beginning of her hep journey, through to her last days were absolutely heartbreaking to read.

Despite her own suffering, this remarkable woman maintained an unwavering sense of compassion for others on this site.

Maybe there is someone on this site who was lucky enough to know her.

I just want to honour Helen Frances.

Her heart wrenching posts have certainly put my trivial complaints in perspective.
