Interferon " OR THE LIKES " ...  was a typo. It is very difficult to use a mobile device  on this site.  Or the likes is a common saying  in the states.  nothing derogatory about it at all . Thanks for erasing it.

- Thanks for the explanation, Rob, that makes sense now.   I`ve corrected your comment.

Cheers, Jill

It sounds like your medicine is doing it's job Rickk. Last year, after I had been on treatment a few weeks I started having more energy. I was not working and felt so good I painted the house I lived in for free just to have something to spend my energy on. I even bought the paint and I was renting... LOL biggrin

 Glad your feeling good! smile

I'm thinking that I must have been suffering from a higher level of fatigue than others. It was unbearable waking up feeling like I was hit by a Mac truck. Physically and mentally. I used to say how in the world can I feel worse than when I went to bed. Then the realization that I was going to want to hide for the rest of the day. That feeling of something wrong in my head. Some chemical imbalance or something. It was hell. With that feeling going away mid treatment was a potential sign that this treatment may be working. Im so excited about the treatment and the new life it offers me. Thanks Rick

Hi Rickk, That is what I notice the most; the horrible fatigue is gone. My step is lighter. Earlier this year I used to park close to the door of where I had to go. Distances looked like football fields. Now, doesn't matter where I park, and it feels like I can glide about 6 " off the ground to the door.  Feels like a miracle.  I totally share in your joy.

Hey Guys. I felt the fatigue many years before I was diagnosed. I was convinced the heavy drug use or possibly depression was the case. I will admit the past two treatments were brutal on the body & Mind. That sure stressed me out. I can truly say I feel more normal than ever. Even without sleep. Rick

I'm on week 7 of Harvoni and I notice that horrible fatigue seems to be gone as well. I used to need 10 hours of sleep (off and on sleep) and then an evening nap which I just could not wake up from. Now I get up much earlier with about 8 hours sleep or less and seldom nap in the evenings...but if I do it's just a brief nap that I awake refreshed from with no lagging effects that I can't shake off. I'm so used to being in a constant state of fear. Now with my 4 week viral load being undetected HCV and new my found energy I am finding that the mental state I was in became a habit or a learned behaviour...and I need to relearn to let go because everything in my life is pretty good and somewhat normal again after 19 years. It's all pretty new to me to begin to feel to normal and without the worries...but I'm very happy to be learning how to adjust to that...and I thank God for it!

1/2 way into my 12week Harvoni treatment I noticed a major life change. I started to feel a new certain overall wellness. Since I got sober 20 years ago I have slept horrible. A lot of mornings I woke up feeling worse than when I went to bed. Im talking about a feeling of being extremely tired in the head. Almost depression like. Feeling negative & short tempered. Wanting to hide and avoid people. I thought before It may be the fact I drank & did drugs for 23 years. While on treatment I started to notice this positive change. I ended my treatment 30 days ago and am still feeling great. Even when getting only 4 or 5 hrs sleep. I don't have that giant dose of doom and gloom anymore. I didn't always feel like **** but way to many mornings/days to ignore. I spoke to my Dr about the new wellness and he's unaware or my findings. I think the definition of Fatigue as being tired goes way deeper than people think. What are your findings? Thanks Rick
