That is one of the coolest links we have ever had on the forum.

Its most likely based on Clinical trials, but most of the SVR percentage predictors have been very close during this first year or so.

Yes, its a new day / year for HCV treatments, and its only going to get better. YAAAHHHOOO!!!!!

Previous Tx + Geno 1 + Cirrhosis + Co-infected, Tx - Harvoni.  It only shows 12 week Tx, no 24 week. But 12 wks gives 98% SVR rate. 24 wks might be 110% biggrin

Yes it may be a bit optimistic but it sure lifts the spirit. Dreams do come true.

Wow! I got a 100%.

Seems a little overly optimistic... still made me feel good.

This is interesting, I don`t think I`ve ever seen an SVR predictor like this before!

While it might not be 100% accurate in a real life setting, it does give a rough indication of the chances of success for the new DAA treatments according to genotype, tx history and liver status.

Thanks FS!  smile

While I love to read that I have a 98% chance of SVR, I think the real world results might be a bit lower. The odds are so darn good Though - better than they have ever been so it is most definitely on the way out! Nasty dragon needs to go home for good! We are all kickin some dragon butt...,yea!!!!

I found the website the SVR predictor originated on and found some interesting information, including your link Freesoul. Thought I'd post that link too. Its a Dutch website, so you may need to use your browser translator function to read it. I use Chrome and it translated it almost automatically. (Couldn't find an English equivalent) There are some interactive functions that may provide you with information you can ask your doctors about. Just remember, everything we find online needs to be backed up with fact and research. This kind of information can certainly provide fuel for discussion.

Hi FS,

Interesting find! Having just reviewed some of the data provided, it follows a lot of the available trial results. I see a lot of 100% claims and that will be proven out with real world results. I have to wonder if some of those claims are hopeful, versus proven. Certainly we're seeing most, if not all (99+/-%) are undetected at EOT with these new DAA's, which have resulted in the highest rates of success we've ever seen. I don't think it will be long before we see guarantees of 100% SVR rates. Hopefully sooner than later! Thanks for sharing this. I like seeing promising news and we're witnessing more all the time!

I don't know about accuracy (best discussed with your doctor, and your mileage might vary and all) but it's an interesting way of comparing treatment options quickly.
