Thanks Jill, I was afraid of that. I have printed up all the sheets on what is in all the product so he can take them to his Doctor. He will have the final word on everything. I did not start Thrive until I was 6 months after end of treatment so there was no question I was alright. So appreciate your effort.

Hi Lilbit,

Don`t worry, we know you well enough by now to know you`re not advertising!   I`ve done a google search for the Thrive vitamin product you mention and it does list herbal extracts among its ingredients.  The usual advice is to avoid any herbal or plant extract supplements until after the 12 week post treatment mark, because there`s a possibility they could interfere with lab results. 

I should think a regular multi vitamin product would be fine for him to take at any time, although just to be sure your husband should check with his doctor.  A good healthy balanced diet would probably be just as good, although I know we don`t always follow that advice. 

Good to hear you recovered so quickly post treatment!  Best of luck to your hubby, not long for him now!  smile

My husband is less than two weeks to finishing treatment on Harvoni.  My question is how long after treatment does he have to wait to go on major natural vitamins.  I went on Thrive which is mega vitamins, minerals, and everything else under the sun after Viekira Pak and got my health back really quick.  Thrive covers mental clarity, energy, mood elevation, aches and pains etc.  Will not go in to it too much lest someone thinks I am advertising.  I'm not.  Not sure how it will affect Harvoni tho and do not want to cause him any problems.  Would really appreciate if one of our guru's could look into this and see what you think.  You all got me through my treatment and I respect your opinions.
