Nice drop in numbers! Glad to hear you aren't having too hard a time with side effects. I am encouraged by all the reports of success or at least improvement.

Shining up the dancing shoes for the dead dragon happy dance!

Excellent liver enzyme levels, Jake, when the numbers drop like that it`s a good indication that there`s a lot less inflammation going on in your liver.

The treatment is clearly working well and your liver is feeling much happier already!  smile

Hi Jake,

With a drop in your ALT/AST like that, I'm very optimistic that your viral load will be either low or non existent. That's great news, keep it going and let us know when you get the good news! Good luck!

Jake, thats a good drop in your lft"s      Its to bad they wont do a load test, but judging by the big drop in  ast-alt  your well on your way to UND.  Keep up the good work!  RC

hey all, 1 1/2 months into the treatment (sovaldi/ribavirin) and just got the results from my 1st. blood test. they didn't test the viral load but my enzyme levels have dropped from AST level at 286 to 29 , and the ALT level from 356 to 30! both in the normal range. my dr. says she is very optimistic.not sure when they will do a viral load test but am hoping for the best. so far other than a little sickness from time to time ,the side effects have not been too bad and haven't experienced the depression or itching skin that others have so counting my blessings! wishing the best for all of us... carry on!
