Greetings,

The best way to handle such is as follows;

1) Hit Edit button and remove all text.

2) Replace removed text with the following link,  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3FnpaWQJO0

Hope this helps!

I don't really know but I think you're correct that you can not delete a post.

I suppose that is safety feature of sorts to keep someone from deleting a whole thread if they were the original poster. (If that makes sense).

If you do indeed want to change your mind, you can always just edit to erase everything and put something like "Edit: Post Deleted".

If the thread is only a single post I think the moderators may delete the (one post) thread or just leave it but if more than one post would probably just leave it.

After all that, I guess what I mean is "I don't know", lol ... (I'm obviously just feeling especially chatty this evening, even at the risk of sounding completely off my rocker).

Dave

Hi SF,

Members are provided 24 hours in which they can edit a post. Post deletion and further editing (after 24 hours) is a function of the moderators. That is determined by the forum software, not the admin team. If anyone wants a post deleted or edited and is unable to do so, please contact anyone on the admin team and we'll be glad to assist you.

Here is a post that helps define some of these issues:

I can't help but notice that we can edit but not delete a post. Am I missing something or is it meant to be this way? Just curious in the event we write something, post it and think, nah, I really did not want to say that smile

Cheers
