I know what you mean. During incevik mine went down to 44... Yikes! They never truly recovered after that 12 week round of hell. But now they appear to be since going as long as I have without the virus. Miracles do come true, and our miracle is also known as harvoni!  Your right ... We've got this!

That is impressive and definitely something to be "stoked" about. You can take your knives and scissors out of lockup now.
I thought I never would stop bleeding after dental surgery on 1-25 and again on 2-1-15. Mine have been 66, 63, 66, 65, 64 since 4-15-15. My last (64) was 12-3-15. I haven't been tested since then because my HCV doctor only ordered VL test at EOT (1-7-16) and I fired my last HIV doctor biggrin but I'll see my new one on 2-22-15 and he will test platelets. That will be EOT+7 so hopefully I'll be following your 14 K/uL improvement. If not then I'll be starting an Oreo diet. lol

Yes, truly excellent stuff. Congratulations!

Hope I get similar numbers soon, and that we all live happy ever after.

I celebrated with a 40 minute jog, and tonight I traded in my Oreos for a cut up orange as a show of gratitude to the great one called Harvoni! The way she explained it was out of 100 treated people with my genotype and fibrosis stage, 9 out of 100 fail. If I make it to 4 weeks undetected, 3 out of 100 fail. That is odds I can handle! Yep... On my way. And you Mike will be right behind me. I'm really stoked about the platelets too. Such a great sign of improvement!

Yep! SVR4 is an excellent indicator of what to expect at EOT +12! Congrats Gracie! I hope you bought some polish for those dancing shoes, you're going to need them. All of your results are worth celebrating!

WOOT

That a girl. That's awesome Gracie!!! I know this really eases your mind since you know that an undetectable result at EOT +4 almost guarantees an undetectable result at EOT +12 (SVR). I'm really happy for you and I'm following right behind you. I wish my doctor would have ordered an EOT +4 test for me rather than an EOT test, but that's okay, I m not worried for either of us. We got this! smile

Four weeks after harvoni stopped blood work ...

AFP went from 11 (high) down to 4 (normal)

Platelets went from 82 up to 96

Oh yea, and I should mention that HCV is still UND.

One more VL test to go ... WOOT!!!!!!
