hello everyone, i have found a non-profit that sends the generic hep c drugs to the US within a week!!  it's a miracle to me and if anyone wants to know more please private message me.  i want to get the word out.  it's a fraction of the price of the u.s.  i'm not advertising for them, but i really want to have a voice in helping people who are having trouble getting cured!  grateful to have a forum for discussion and to connect.  i've gone 20 years not really talking about having hep c, being shamed by doctors for having it and associating it with the addiction of my past so i'm beyond happy there is a cure and am ready to go full-on dallas buyers club if the US doesn't start making it more available to everyone who is a part of this epidemic.  hep c has been a great teacher for me to learn how to take care of myself but it's time to say GOODBYE.  thanks for listening :)  thinking maybe this will get moved to rants ha!  seriously, though, get in touch if you want to discuss the india path.

Best of luck to you too! Stay in touch and let us know if we can be of assistance. If you travel to India, have fun, stay safe and check all the references of those you meet. It's a busy place over there!

Hi Joslyn,

Welcome to the forum. I will send you a private message with some information. We don't allow advertisement or endorsements on the open forum.

There are several people that can help you with information on this. The one fellow that has quite an extensive blog and describes his own experiences with Indian generics, is Greg Jeffreys. I think you'll find it very informative.

As soon as I can track down the information you seek, I'll send you a private message that can be accessed on your profile page. It will also be accessible via the link that will show up under the log in area, above right. We also have a number of abbreviations used here and often place our treatment information in our signature area. That information can be found HERE. Any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

PS: I moved this post to the New Members section.

Hi all

glad to find you

ive had hep c for 20+ years and can't get harvoni bc of having ppo insurance!

i am going to India for an artist residency in June and will be in Trivandrum afterwards to see if I can get the generic drug.  I do not have a contact there besides a homeopath.  Does anyone know how I can connect with a reliable source to work with to get generic drug?  It sounds like I might have to fly to Bangalore?

i am willing to do what it takes.  Disgusted with American drug companies!

thanks for any leads!
