Hello Zoe, welcome!

I expect some of our members will be happy to contact you by private message to share their own personal experiences.  Anything discussed will of course be in strict confidence, and I`m sure you already realise that.

In the meantime I`m closing this thread so your post doesn`t get buried under comments.

Thanks, and good luck!  smile   Jill  (forum moderator)

No one is going to place your assignment in your lap, it's all here, get busy you've got a LOT of reading to do ... (as well as reading the forum rules). If you find something of interest, ask that individual before using any information you find ...

And dont' forget your tinfoil hat ... you're going to need it ... drones, lots of drones and burnt marshmallows ... watch out it could be dangerously confusing, I suggest the 3D glasses and headphones ... they'll help and start drinking 4 liters of water every day from here on ...

In the interest of more levity:

Hi, I am a nursing student at Newcastle uni, 2nd year, and have an upcoming assessment on empathy.  This assessment is designed to help us imagine ourselves in someone else's shoes and attempt to understand how they might be feeling.  I have access to journal articles but I feel that the best way to try and understand how something like HCV affects one's life is ask someone who has been through it.  I would be very humbled if someone would please share their story of HCV with me especially their feelings, how it affected their day to day functioning, symptoms, how they came to be diagnosed, treatment and anything else they would like to share.  I understand that this is a lot to ask.  Please also let me know if this is an unreasonable request and you would prefer that I leave the forum.

I really hope to hear from someone.

Many thanks.
