On the other note, I will always appreciate the help I have gotten from people here. I was a bit of a mess and had so little information. My clinic did it's job, but had little to offer about the how it felt to go through a tough treatment.  This place is a treasure.  I am forever touched.

Actually, I think the reason does matter.

Just want to add one thing. It doesn't matter the reason, when someone leaves the forum, we all lose a piece of our journey to slay the beast. I know I'll never forget the help people willingly gave me as I struggled through it. Many are gone, but I remember all the names and the good they brought to our membership. I continue to learn something everyday from all of you and appreciate everyone's input. I wanted to let you know that each of you are valued. It's all good!

Thanks,     Tig      smile

Dave, you will be sadly missed and I only wish good things for you. Take good care of yourself and drop in to say hi once in awhile.

* I actually sent a pm to Dave I believe it was Tuesday because I had not seen him and was worried and now I see this as I just got back in town today.  I felt something was in the air. Be well Dave and family.

Hello everyone,

i just wanted to say how much I'm going to miss Dave's humour, honesty, compassion and his tin foil hat.

I'm hoping you've got so much living to do that there's no time for your computer at all Dave. We were both spinning out on RIBA together and laughing and crying with you made it all so much easier.

You take care now,

you are going to be sorely missed around these parts.

Big Hugs,

Syd

Well Dave, you already know how I feel about you leaving. This forum will be less effective, not as fun and will certainly have a missing link without you around here. You just be sure to check in from time to time. You never know what the future might bring. wink

Aww that makes me sad. I will send him a private message if not too late to catch him.

I have a lot of other medical tests and procedures (non HCV) going on in the next week and thought about leaving but I just can't bring myself to do it. Just not on here as often as I was but I have made some good buddies and want to stay connected.

I`m very sorry that Dave is leaving us, he`s been a real asset to this forum over the time he`s been here, and was also a great addition to the Admin team.

We`re all going to miss his upbeat supportive posts, his sound advice to other members, and the sense of fun and good humour he brought along with him.

Thanks for everything you`ve done here, Dave, and I wish you the best of health and happiness.

You`ll always be welcome whenever you find the time to drop in and say hello...  you`ll be missed around here!

Hi Everyone,

It's with great sadness and disappointment that I must announce the resignation of our friend and moderator Linuxter (Dave). Unfortunate circumstances have arose that have brought him to the decision that leaving is his best option. We're going to miss his "unhinged" moments and great advice on nutrition, not to mention the caring and compassionate support he provided to all of us.

Let me say thanks, Dave, you've been a good friend and supportive Admin Team member. We'll miss your help and the guidance you have provided the membership. I hope you'll check in on occasion and say hello. Take care buddy, the Drones are always watching, lol! Enjoy that new Hep C free life....

water.jpgDon't forget what I taught you either....
