Nice to meet you here bebsy.

Great you have completed your 8 weeks of harvoni. Big congrats - job well done. YOU KILLED IT!

I get what you say, about the "shock" of it - finding out your first (prior) pre-treatment numbers, and as well, I get the bit about how "unbelievable" it feels when they come down to normal again so quickly!

Nice you crossed the finish line now. The UND you spoke of ... that was at 4 weeks, right? -  so, your next VL test will be 12 weeks from now? Do let us know when your next one is, what your results are, if you will please. But, it's a forgone conclusion you are, have been and will be und from now on.

Going through having this tough virus imparts a special vulnerability in us, once we are und and carry on, I think we are changed in many ways (for the good) because of what we have suffered, and not just because we no longer have hepC!! Do you know what I mean? I think I am a better human being for having lost my C! I see things just a wee bit differently now. I know I feel I am a more grateful human being! So, i figure there is something good about having had my hepC afterall!

Good you posted. It always helps those who have not yet started harvoni, to know what your ride was like, what with "one night insomnia, occasional headaches and vivid dreams". Everyone wants to know what it might be like (for them) - so thanks for that.

Good goin'!biggrin C.

Congratulations, on finishing tx. You remind me of a friend who also is involved in body building comps. He also contracted hepc and told me about harvoni when I was diagnosed. He's been und over a year. He spends more time coaching his wife now, not competing himself. Anyway the healthy lifestyle is a great advantage.

Greetings all, im a newby on here, my name is Paul im 52  today is the last day of  treatment which was 8 weeks of harvoni im a Geno 1a well i was i hope lol prior to starting i had a viral load of 2.5 million within 11 days it was 35 and after 4 weeks it was <12 and undetected, no complaints couldnt believe how quickly my liver returned to within normal range as the prior numbers really shocked the life out me, to be honest i dont know long ive had it but i found out when i went to the docs as i was peeing around 8 times a night, over the last few years ive noticed changes especially a scalp condition which i was told was chronic didnt think to much just tried to keep on top if it then became really sluggish in the morning and like i had a G clamp on my head but plodded on ive always gone the gym and competed in bodybuildig comps, at the begining of treat meant i had 1 night of insomnia and tje occasional headache and vivid dreams no complaints. I will cut it it short there and would like to thank the people running this forum the snopits of info as helped me through as it
