Hi Anthony,

Welcome to the forum. That's wonderful news on being approved for treatment. I assume you are a GT 1. Any cirrhosis?  Do you have any other information you can share. As Eric mentioned, genotype, fibrosis level, ALT/AST are helpful when replying. If you want to add it to your own signature line, there are links in mine that will explain it.

Let us know when you plan to start and the length of treatment, 12 or 24. We can give you some ideas and advice on diet and hydration during treatment. These new DAA's are nothing like the Interferon Triples, ugh. With that experience behind you, this will be a vacation, comparatively speaking!

Stay in touch and good luck...

Congrats mate! I see that it's your first post. You should introduce yourself with more background information (i.e. what genotype you have, etc.).

When do you start the new treatment? I'm on day 1 :)

Cheers!
Eric

... and I am very pleased. I have had a few treatments prior to this, the last was Telapravir which was horrible, finding out it hadn't worked was even worse.

Now I have been offered Abbvie Regimen with Ribovirin, a nice Christmas present.

Fingers crossed!
