Greetings,

Based on a close Friend here that sent the PM I am going to leave the title which is presently exclusive for Harris County Texas.

Once I know he has gotten the information I am thinking of changing the title and making it a resource thread that expands to other Counties, States and Countries that have ways of addressing and treating HepC in those who have no insurance.

I welcome additions to the thread. If y'all have resources to share please do.

There will be NO SPAM. No pointing to places to buy Meds. We respect the Medical Community and it's Professionals. HepCFriends ALWAYS points to seeking Professional Medical Help.

This thread will be about resources for uninsured folks to seek out just that. Professional Care.

Regards Y'all !

Greetings,

I received a PM today regarding someone who was in Harris County, Tx, has just found out they have HCV and has no insurance.

That is one of those "Now what do I do" moments.

http://www.houstontx.gov/health/HIV-STD/HCV%20Resource%20Guide%202008.pdf

The link is to a PDF file that outlines some options including for the uninsured.

HepCFriends is dedicated to helping folks with HepC. Often that help is simply advising on options that someone just coming on board may not be aware of.

Y'all have a Great Day!

JimmyK
