Thank you, Canuck! This is much appreciated. Your words ring true and do point out how valued each member is. When necessary, the admin team has covered the costs of keeping the forum operating and free of all the pop ups, banner ads and spam related nonsense. It's important that we keep our attention on helping each other and not being distracted with needless advertising.

100% of all contributions go directly to website operating costs. Every donation, regardless of size, is important to us and so appreciated. I don't fund raise very often, because I like to concentrate on the help we accomplish together. I'm humbled by the kindness of members like you and will utilize your hard earned, generous contributions, to keep this a go-to place for HCV support, friendship and information.

Forum Fund Raising

This post was getting quickly buried! I had to dig to find it again, even though it is recent! I'm glad you had posted it Tig.

Man, it's been a LONG time! that I can remember any fundraising being done - what, does this site just live on air? (hot air maybe, hee hee). I think Linux was the last one to try to mention to folk that just a few pennies, here or there, now and again, can help the cause, and help to keep this site running (without pop-up ads and such). This is such a lovely helpful place, and we certainly appreciate you at the helm Tig, and all our moderators and others who support the place, freely, including all our members new and old, and visiting guests who come here.

It feels good that we all support and contribute to each others well-being strictly on a voluntary basis, but I know there has to be some hard costs to cover in keeping a site up and running.

I contributed once, and will do again (I just did, now!) - I found the donate link pretty easy to use (even for me!), the hard part was rolling up all those pennies from that jar I keep by the fireplace. Hey, how much is a Canadian penny worth in the US anyway? I wish the sum I sent was more.

Thanks Tig. smile
