Good appetite, good attitude, feeling better, decent vision (after ALL that you and your eye had to go through)!, no longer doing bouncy houses impressions?

Me too!, am I ever thrilled with your better-than-anticipated corneal recovery. Very fortunate.†

Tell us what you and yours have been up to, how everyone is - so good to hear from you and to know you are doing so much better. C.†

Hey Lamont,

Itís good to hear from you. I wondered what journey you might be on and how life has been treating you. Sounds to me like youíre doing pretty good! I admire your strength and your love for the outdoors. We always enjoy hearing about your last great angling adventure. Iím not too sure about riding motorcycles in the Bay Area though. I used to live there and even 30 years ago the crazies were everywhere. We treated several bike accidents a week. Enough of that, but we want you to keep your eyes open. Soap box: Off

Iím thrilled to hear how well your eye has recovered. I didnít like the sounds of that when you described the problems. You deserve this, you worked hard and paid your dues. I know you will!

Well done.... †

I am still alive, and other than the fact that my appetite for vast quantities of food has continued unabated, my health has been generally good, no surprises.

The chronic gut issues I had that I think were HepC related are nearly resolved, not totally, but I have only the occasional icky gut day, so I am guessing my overall picture has improved.

As many of you know I had a persistent herpes attack, in my eye, towards the end of my Epclusa course. It took nearly 9 months to totally abate. I was convinced it would leave me mostly blind in my right eye.

Oddly, even my vision has returned to nearly what it was before the infection. I am not complaining, though. I like seeing clearly! My eye doc was pessimistic that I would recover any sight due to the scarring on my cornea, but she was wrong. I cant' wait to see her for my annual checkup....

I think I've got another good 20 years in me, (I'm coming up on 67) maybe more. So I plan to make the most of it by doing the things I love to do.
