Hi Iris,

There are a couple of ways to post hyperlinks. Sometimes they will activate on their own or you’ll have to use the following method. I’ll start with the BB tag approach first, the second is hard to describe, so let’s go with the first! It’s easiest. HTH!

PS: I bought the shower head you recommended. We love it!

Ok thanks Tig, but could you give me a refresher on how to do that?

So I mailed it today, well within the 15th deadline. I'll let you folks know what happens!

bb, Iris

I think it would be worth pursuing and signing up for the class action lawsuit. You will never recover the stress and craziness caused by their nasty decision making practices but you having been denied 7 times could/would make a pretty powerful addition to their case....

And the fact that now you ARE cured proves that had you not been denied for years, you would have responded and their policies wasted so much of your time.

and if you get some cash great and if you dont so be it...at least you counted and stood up.

Thanks Tig, I really need to find that paper work, I looked on line but there are tons out there and I do not know the name of attorney handling this. Ya I was part of the AT&T thing, never saw a dime. but was part of this tragic story

https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1992-04-17-me-608-story.html

...with my father in law. His remaining children split the several thousand dollar settlement which in the end didn't amout to much, let alone the emotional loss.

Hi Iris,

I just got back home, too. The holidays are always hectic!

That‘s an interesting angle on those denied treatment. It would be worth investigating, no question. I’ll look around and see what’s out there. Maybe we can put our search efforts together and find out what it’s about. The problem with class action suits is you rarely get what you have lost, but instead end up distributing it around. Of course, the cost of personal litigation is crazy high if you can’t find an attorney to take it for you on percentage.

I would say it’s worth looking into. I have been party to a couple of class action suits and never got enough back to buy a cup of coffee! Still, you never know!

Hey folks, I got a notice a few weeks back about being a part of a class action law suit. It is for patients who were denied treatment because they did not have a high enough firbro score. I'm not sure I can find the notice at this point, the chaos of X-mas all the people and having to move stuff around to accommodate out of town sleepers and hubs hip replacement has consumed my life at the moment. Anyhow I'm not even sure I was eligible, I have a feeling it was for people who were still being denied treatment. Although being denied 7 times there sure was a lot of anxiety and worry and plenty of co-payments down the drain, not sure they can re-coop my sanity lost during that time  blankstare.

Anyhoo should I try to find it to fill out?, or let it go, I think letting go keeps me in the loop? or something like that.

BB, Iris
