Hi! My name is Kelly, I'm new to this forum. Actually I don't have hep C, but there's always a risk. So I want to support those of you who need it and want more about this disease.

Welcome Jenn!

So much water is hard to take, but it really is important. You can add a little flavor, like lemonade, but keep it as close to pure water as you can.

You should do well on Mavyret. So many people do, but if you have questions, this is a good place to find lots of experienced - and cured - people.

When you ask "how does this work" are you asking how the treatment rids you of the virus, or what is pathway for treatment?

Also, you can find lots of info in the search area shown above.

I'm delighted you are getting cured. It will make your life, and your health a whole lot better.

All the best,

Cheddy

Welcome to the forum, Jenn! Glad you found us. smile

I saw your note in the Chatbox and want you to know Mavyret is a very good treatment and has an extremely high rate of success. We haven’t had one person fail treatment on it.

If you aren’t aware, you should do your best to drink a gallon of water daily!  It keeps you hydrated and is guaranteed to reduce/eliminate any of the side effects of treatment. Trust me, it’s very important!

If you have any questions, please ask. You’re going to be rid of the Dragon before you know it!
