Thankyou all for your replies, I am really glad I have started to post again. When I am really low I find it hard to reach out and let people know. I never went away just very quiet for a bit but I have been keeping up with all the goings on here.
Thanks Lau for the diet sheet, that is really helpful smile
Best wishes to all,
Helen xxx

Hi Helen,

Pm'ed you my diet sheet that I got from a herbal dietician to help me with symptoms whilst NOT on tx.

It may help, it helped me with slow burn hi-energy food types.

Hi Helen

Good to read you and I am so glad you are feeling a little better and hope things will carry on improving for you.

I had shot 4# today and trying very hard to stay postive even though my hair is already breaking badly in places thus it looks like I am going to baldly go where others have been already. biggrin

Take good care

((((hugs)))

Love

Hiya Helen, lovely to hear from you smile

Glad to hear that you're feeling more optimistic and motivated - great attitude after all you've been through nod.gifthumbsup.gif

Hope you enjoy the half-term time with your children!

Got some more info on things that can help with the detox, energy levels, etc and i'll post it in the next couple of days.

Love Mrs Smialls (Steff) xx

Hi everyone,
Havent posted for quite a while so thought i would finally say hi. I have spent a few weeks feeling quite despondant after the disappointment of not responding to treatment. However, I cant sit around feeling sorry for myself forever.................so, I am now on a mission to take as good care of myself as possible. I have always eaten a healthy diet, I am vegetarian and grow alot of my fruit, veg and herbs but i am looking into what else I can do. I have started taking milk thistle, anything else you have heard of that I could try let me know. Conventional tx may not be the solution for me right now but I am certainly not going to give up the fight!!
I think the drugs must be finally out of my system because I have a little more energy, dont ache as much and my mood is finally not as dark!
I am feeling motivated at work again and we are house hunting which is quite exciting. Its half term this week so I have a few days off to spend with the children.
It is great to see how busy this forum is at the moment and how many of you are on treatment right now. I wish you all every success with it. Take good care of yourselves and keep accessing the great support here.
Best wishes to all,
Helen xxx
