Just wanted to mention that this is an old thread from 2009, in case you hadn`t realised.

I`ve been reading your posts and I wish you all the best of luck!  We`ll post any new information as it becomes available on post transplant treatment with the new DAA treatments.

Hello 8 yrs. Transplant , Manosdelumbre here 9 yrs. Transplant .... Have reinfected Liver RNA PCR recently found  2357004 copies virus load.... Will probably go to UCSF for consultation , then Liver Biopsy to exactly what condition my Liver is in after 9 yrs. then hope to get on New drugs Sovaldi or Harvoni . I have Geno type 1A.... Any advice ?????

Hello Doris, Sounds like you have been through a lot . I can't imagine what it is like to go through a liver transplant . I don't think they are offered to Hep C patients in France for the reason that the new liver will become infected . You sound like a survivor. Wishing you well,  Annie xxxxx

Have you ever undergone treatment?  Or has it been suggested?
