My eyes were very dry and scratchy. Painful in the morning. I used a lot of artificial tears, which helped.

yes Kristin, the thing is people thinks that I am picking up something from my nose or that is not nice sometimes when I dinner or seriving the food. and another thing I heard cocain users has this thing. people will think that I had just sniffed a line.

PJ, they don't take serious unless you have complain about your vital organs. but im in a research study maybe they will take serious and explain to me.

I asked my nurse about the itchy nose and I don't think she took me seriously. I also don't think she's probably heard of this before.

I also have that damn itchy nose business.. You know how many times I have had to defend myself after being accused of picking it?! 'I was scratching it! Truly! It's itchy!'. I still see the doubt & disgust in Ricks eyes..

Yes, burning eyes here too. I am in my fifth week of treatment and they have been getting pretty bad lately.  I'm using drops and flushing them with water and that seems to help. Also treating allergies helps me.

Just wanted to say that I got the burning eyes really bad the first 6 weeks, however it seems to have gone away for the most part.

Gidday Virginia,

Yeh' earlier on in tx I use to get it quite often, particularly the morning after shot night when I woke up.  My eyes felt like they had ground up glass in them, possibly some sort of dried eye weep or something.  I use to get up quick smart (as is possible the morning after:) and flush my eyes out with water 'til it cleared.

I just started paying attention to flushing my eyes, when I wash my face, before I go to bed each night, and it went away.

Not sure if it's related ar helpful, and a belated welcome to the Forum from methumbsup.gif

Cheers,

Brendan

Hi Virginia, Just to answer your question, no, so far so good. But my eyes get watery quite often. No burning yet! What burns is the tender skin under my eyes from the watering. I keep wiping it gently but it burns. Hope this helps. Talk to you later. Hope you feeling well.

yes I had burning/dry eyes while on treatment and drops helped.  Since I was so dry I bought the Natural tears kind of drops as well as allergy drops (had eye allergies too)

Hi, Yes I got it a lot during the first few months, less now. Also a lot of problems with vision, which haven't got better. Eye drops help with the burning/ itching sensation.
It is annoying, because I love reading, but can't do a lot as this makes it worse.
Love Annie xxxxx
