Hi Beth, YOU GO GIRL.clap.gifI am so very happy for you. I remember when you first joined the forum, you were very depressed and down in the dumps. Remember I told you to stop worrying so much. Now look at you! You made it. You seem like a whole different person lately. You have confidence now and you know where you are going. Your whole personality has strengthened. It even shows by the avatar that you choose. All I can say is I am happy and proud of you. Throw those damn shoes away and treat yourself to something new. Something new for your new life.  Hugs  Dee

Hi Elizabeth,  Thats interesting about the shoes.  I never did get around to doing some sort of ritual with the Tx.  (Like the people in some long ago thread who where putting stones in a box to show how far along they were with the shots, I've forgotten who they were, LOL)  Yes, I'm resting more and trying to drink more water, anything to help.  Hope you have an easy last shot.  Take care, tysmile

Gidday Elizabeth,

Very sneaky hiding this over in 'General Discussion', not that I don't look in here, it's just that I'm often limited in time and only answer stuff in 'On Treatment'.

I guess it's half-way through week 47 now, so it's only a few days to that last shot.w00t.gif

A little bit of advice:-  When you go on that last walk, take a spare pair of shoes with you or you'll walk home barefoot.  Put that hat back on - don't want you blaming me for a sunburnt nose or something.no.gif

I hope your last week is a really nice one, no nasties just a smooth no hassle week, and when you go on that last walk, when you are tossing away that symbolic pair of walkers, make sure you hang onto all the great things you have learnt about yourself on this journey, you've done awesome stuff getting here Elizabeth and use it as the catalyst to take the next big step, into your new life.

Remind me to send you my mobile number, I want you to call me when you are standing on top of Ayers Rock, put that as number 1 on your bucket list.smile.gif

Anyway, still a little ways yet, so hang in there and have a goodun'

Cheers,

Brendan

Hi everyone
i am not quite sure how to feel at the moment,
hmmm... life outside the tunnel...

@james no plans for the last day as yet my head is so full of **** from the sewer still.
couldnt make a plan if i tried ...lol
tho i will be throwing my walking shoes in a bin somewhere as a ceremony of the end of the road..
they have carried me all the way through tx every morning ... a few seasons and some bad days.
their job is done ...they are shattered .
umm the biggest memory is the first occassion i felt the virus was gone the sky went clear when i was walking early and it was freezing..perths coldest winter for 13 years .
i do kinda remember week 7 yep the end seemed unfathamable .
Brenden i take my hat off to you....

Jill
i guess i did it hard, i had some bad circumstances but you know i always knew i would make it to the end ..
Ty
sounds like you have hit a tough spot, dont try and push through you know what to do, rest and keep yourself comfy with lots of solitude .

love to all
eliazabethxx

Hey Elizabeth, well done for getting so far, I am so happy for you.! smile  thumbsup.gif You have not had an easy ride.  I`ve injected air bubbles before now (because I forgot) and didn`t notice any difference.

I`m looking forward to the celebrations coming up soon.  smilebiggrin

Ty, hang in there mate, I`ve found the middle weeks of tx seem more difficult somehow,  but you`re well on your way out of that tunnel.  All best to everyone, love Jill xx

Hi Elizabeth,  Wow, only one shot to go!  I can't even imagine it!  (I'm still stuck in that sewer tunnel and I can't even see the light at the other end, LOLbiggrin)  You've shown how tough you really are for making it this far.  Take care, tysmile

Hi Beth,

Congrats on ONE to go, Did you ever think, back when you were on shot 7 that you'd get here. I know I felt like I was up against it, and I only am a 24 weeker. 48 weeks wow, I can't imagine. I'm very happy for you.

I hope #47 is treating you well.

I have no plans when I finish, that's a good idea. What about you ?

@Dragonfly-

I like to make the analogy that tx are like Andy escaping from prison through the sewage pipe in Shawshank Redemption.
