Gidday Lau,

WOW !!  Nearly missed this, thanks for bring it to my attention Simon......

Trying to sneak off while I'm under a power black out ya bugger, the cyclone couldn't knock me down but to hear you are going, does a bit:(

Na what am I saying, good onya; Lau, you were the one who gifted this Forum and I thank you from the many. many people that will get help in the future because of what you started.  From those early days to this in such a relatively short time is quite an achievement Lau and a lot of it's off your back mate, and on top of that I'm proud to be able to humbly thank you for those sobering bits off advise when I thought I was losing the battle.

Thanks mate, I ended up taking my last tx days rib tabs about 48 hours before you wrote that farewell.

I wish you all the best in those plans you have laid out, and to the endeavours that you'll move onto as a consequence.  Have fun at he Worlds, are ya' gonna' take young Tom, do you think the world is ready yet:).

Have a great life mate, I know I'm gonna'

Cheers,

Brendan.

Hi Lau, thanks also from me for what you`ve achieved with this forum - you should be very proud.  Wishing you all the best of luck for your future.  You are a great example of what can be achieved post treatment, and an inspiration to us all.

To Steff and Heather, nice to know you will still be here steering the ship, your knowledge and advice is invaluable.     Thanks to you both.

Hugs, Jill xxx

Lau,

It is with great sadness in my heart that I read of you stepping aside, but I also have a great big smile for you and all that you have achieved with the forum, and even more so for all that you are setting out to achieve post tx. Remember in your heart all of those that you have helped, me being one, and all that will be helped as this forum lives on.

Be safe my friend, keep your head held high, and it is ok to think back of what you accomplished here and smile to yourself.

To Steff and Heather,

Thank you so much for stepping up, you both have always been a staple of this forum and your level headedness and knowledge will keep this forum marching in the front of the field. Bless you both for taking the time to keep it going.

If either of you ever need anything, if just an ear to listen, feel free to contact me.

Simon

I would like to offer my thanks as well.  I don't think I could have handled all the little problems of tx without all the support that I have received here.  As an old martial artist I'm rooting for you to win, Lau!  Take care, tysmile

I always wondered about the origin of this forum. Thanks to you all for creating it. I know how much good it has done for me, and I thank you for it.

Good luck Lau. I also read your blog, love the boxing analogy.

Much thanks,

James

Hello to all,

as you may have seen - over the coming months, I have been just too busy to log in much. After starting the forum with Greenqueen(Steff) and Minerva(Heather), my time has just gotten too busy to allow me to attend to the Forum on a regular basis. The Forum ownership will now be passing over to Greenqueen.

We've done some superb things here, and I'm proud of my association. But with a full time job, some new professional studies this year, the Karate World championships and other tournaments (yes - you did read that correct, this old dude is gonna take his sorry a** and compete at world level this year, I ain't gonna win - but I'm gonna show that an illness, once gotten over - is in the past).

I love you all,

I'm proud of what we've achieved, and it's not goodbye, I'll drop by time to time.

Much Love,

Much Health,

I wish you all virus free times and continued health,

Lau
