Don`t let it burst your bubble Aaron, what James says is right.  If I`m UND in Sept, I will consider myself cured, and so should you.   Stay happy! smile

I've researched tis quite a bit. We have a 99.6% chance of staying UND from a study done in 2007 at VA. Commonwealth done with 997 test subjects. People do continue to get tested though, say every two years or so. Here is the study. http://www.hepatitis-central.com/mt/archives/2007/05/a_cure_for_hepa.html

Yes I will Jill!

So I talked to one of the doc's today in the practice where I was going since my doc left to go do more schooling. I was told to call when I had taken the blood test and the results had come in. He said that he want's me to make an appointment and come back in 6 months so that he can do another test after I have been off for a year and if that test comes back neg then we can think about saying that I'm cured :/ what is that about I kinda think that it is him just trying to get more money out of me what are your guy's view on this? That he might give me the all clear then or he might have me come back in another 6 months he was real short with me and made it sound like I need to come back again. But the guy that I had for the whole of treatment he left like 3 months post tx said that as long as I was clear 6 months post it was an all clear. I still happy but talking to him today kinda put a damper on my spirits :(

Here`s your tx twin dropping by to say CONGRATULATIONS to you Aaron!!!w00t.gifw00t.gifw00t.gif

Fantastic news, the day has finally come when you can celebrate, and I am so happy for you!! As James said, you handled it so well and managed to keep working all through tx, even though it was hard going.  Wishing you a very happy and healthy life, you have done it!  biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

Yes, you`d think I would be next as we both started tx on the same day, but I have to wait till 27th Sept for my next appt, so it will be Oct before I get my results - should be about the same time as Ty.   I think Lesley will be the next one to get her results.

Hope you`ll still drop by from time to time...

Love and a big hug, from Jill xxx
