That does sound freakishly improbable but I think there will be some that achieve SVR with <24 weeks of tx.  In fact, I think there were some in the incivek clinical trials that did but the odds increased at 24 weeks.

I think the "good results" to which he is referring is undetectable viral load. But the treatment period will almost certainly be longer than that. But don't sweat it. Just follow the doctor's directions, as accurately as you possibly can.

It's my understanding that even if you are undectable in 30 days, 24 weeks would still be the shortest planned treatment, unless you have to stop for other reasons.

I have a vl of 507000 IU/ML. The doc says they have good results with people with my vl levels in just 30 days instead of the full 6 month course of tx. Has anyone had any success with the tx in a short a period of time.confuse.gif
