Hi nohcv:  I had a breast biopsy a couple of years ago and it was really a very easy procedure.  Mostly it was just scary in the days leading up to it.  As I'm sure you know, the results are usually benign, as fortunately mine turned out to be.  They did leave a tiny metal type thingie in my breast for future tracking.  So far I haven't set off any airport or other detectors!

So, you are over half-way home on your tx, and things are looking good.  I expect the decrease is only temporary.  Best of luck to you.smile

I found out today that red blood cell count or whatever is now 8.8, down from 10.2 5 weeks ago. Am decreasing ribavarin from 1000 to 400/day and Pegasys from 180 to 135. I am at 29 1/2 weeks of 48 so I hope I'll be OK. Added bonus- need a breast biopsy! Cross fingers (and toes) please!
